And then she told me that she was making her own, which she did, and completed a few days later: [link]

I started making my own the first night she showed that to me, and then added to it periodically every few days afterward.

Then and I got to talking about it, and a day or two later she posted this: [link]

I told her multiple times that I just couldn't post the Shout It Out because...well, I just couldn't. I didn't have the guts to do it.

Then I got to talking to someone on the bus about honesty and fakeness. She's one of the most brutally honest people I've ever met, and it gets her in trouble but at least it's admirable of her. I got to thinking about it, what with her telling me about honesty and change and this whole Shout It Out thing, and I realized that I'm horribly fake. The more I typed into my Shout It Out, the more I realized how much of it no one knew. And I knew why it was really that I couldn't post my Shout It Out. I didn't want to put out ALL of those things I'd been hiding. And because I'm afraid of people taking that stuff jokingly in the future. I can't handle that.

And because a handful - up to maybe five - are destined to bring me trouble. But my Shout It Out wouldn't be complete without those confessions.

So at the moment I'm tweaking it, but by tonight it ought to be up. Even though the one I'm particularly worried about is true, I still feel as though I need to open up at *some* point or another, whether it's to you guys or to someone else.
